Autism meets artificial intelligence

ALAG – AH meeting
Tuesday 4 November 2025
19:00 to 20:30

Autism Meets AI: Inclusive Technology for Everyday Living
Online event

This in-person event will introduce autistic adults to Artificial Intelligence (AI), explaining what it is, how it works, and its role in everyday life through familiar examples such as Alexa, chatbots, and spelling checkers.

We will provide context on the UK’s AI policy, from its early focus on innovation and adoption to today’s emphasis on safety and regulation, highlighting both opportunities and challenges.

Attendees will explore free, beginner-friendly AI tools for writing, design, transcription, research, and creative projects. The event will demonstrate how AI supports neurodivergent people by breaking down tasks, reducing stress, improving communication, and making learning and work more accessible.
