ALAG and the Autism Hub invite you to an online evening event covering Autism and Creative Special Interests.

Be inspired by hearing the journey and seeing the work an autistic musician and autistic artist(s) at this creative special interests event.

Discover how unique passions can fuel self-expression, connection and personal growth. Join like-minded people exploring and turning your creative interests into fulfilling projects. Whether its art, music, writing, or any other form of creativity, this event is your space to share, learn, and thrive.

The session will begin with guest speakers and a chance to ask questions. This will be followed by time to share your experience of creative special interests. 

Guest speakers include: 

  • Travis Glover – Musician, Composer, Multi-Instrumentalist

‘Travis has been playing music for more than 17 years. He recently passed his MA in Film Scoring from the University of Bristol and is also the keyboard player for several big bands, pursuing his passion in jazz improvisation.

Travis also has experience in composing for animation as well as short films, sound design, and video games. Travis has also been the keys player for The Autistic Adult Choir via zoom for the past 4 years. He is also self-taught in bass, guitar and percussion and has an extensive vinyl’s collection.’

  • Shaun Stamp – Artist (photography, media, sculpture, text, collaboration)

‘Shaun was born in Wales and is of mixed heritage. Shaun has exhibited internationally in places such as, Turner Contemporary Museum (UK), Kunst Museum Wolfsburg (Germany), WCCE Dubai Expo (UAE), Anderson Ranch Arts Center (USA), PH21 Photography Gallery (Hungary), Broom Hill Sculpture Park (UK), University of Fine Arts Armenia (Armenia), Suiter Art Space (South Korea).

Shaun’s visual meaning is built as an expressive biographical structure. His on-going themes and projects include static or moving multi-media experiments, or single works of photography, sculpture, text, digital, installation, performative, site specific or collaboration.
