Reflections on the 6 December 2022 – festive special

The last of the 2022 monthly ALAG / Autism Hub events was an interactive festive special. The event took place at a new location with several room enabling participation in multiple activities. This was a well attend in-person event, allowing everyone the chance to meet, to catch up and to exchange any festive greetings.

The event began with a quiz with an end of year. I was pleased to host this session and enjoyed selecting a variety of questions across current affairs, sport and entertainment. There bonus questions and added comments for many answers. The quiz ended with answer requiring four names – adding to tense climax.

For those who wanted a break from the busy quiz, there was crafts session offering a calming environment for creating a festive decoration. Elsewhere, there was more chances of social chat and interaction.

The evening rounded off with upbeat festive music request session with some favourites and familiar tunes being played.

I thoroughly I enjoyed being a part of the fun, interactive and festive evening event.
